Cartus Receives Supplier Diversity Award from U.S. Postal Service®
Danbury, 09 Jun 2010 -

(DANBURY, CONN. – June 9, 2010) – Cartus Corporation, the premier provider of employee relocation solutions, was presented with a 2009 Supplier Diversity Award by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS®) at a recent ceremony in Washington, D.C. The company was one of 13 organizations recognized by Postmaster General John E. Potter for superior supply chain performance and delivering best-value solutions that reduce costs, enhance performance, maintain high levels of service, and serve to grow the business.

Susan Brownell, USPS Vice President, Supply Management, said, "Our suppliers play a vital role in the success of the Postal Service™. They bring capabilities and innovation to all facets of the business, helping us deliver high levels of service every day for our customers."

Cartus has provided relocation services to the Postal Service for the past 18 years and manages more than 1,000 moves annually for the agency. Cartus delivers their fully outsourced relocation program, which includes assistance with moving services and residence transactions, reimbursement of eligible relocation-related expenses, and detailed, one-on-one counseling on Postal Service relocation policies.

"Promoting diversity is a top priority at Cartus, and we are extremely honored to accept the Postal Service Supplier Diversity Award," said Cartus President and CEO Kevin Kelleher. "Meeting Postal Service diversity objectives reflects our deep commitment to ensuring that opportunities for development and business growth are nurtured — both by our worldwide supply chain partners and by our own employees. We signed our first contract with the Postal Service in 1992, and since then we’ve proudly serviced more than 15,000 Postal Service employees. We are honored to partner with such an iconic American organization and look forward to continuing our relationship well into the future."
