Cartus Executives Address Worldwide ERC’s Relocation Conference
Danbury, 18 Jun 2010 -

(DANBURY, CONN. – June 18, 2010) – Kevin J. Kelleher, president and CEO of Cartus Corporation, and several Cartus executives participated in Worldwide ERC®’s National Relocation Conference held May 19-21, 2010, in Orlando, Fla. Kelleher participated in a panel discussion on "Relocation Management: A View from the Top," in which he shared insights on changes in the relocation industry brought about by the economic downturn. He also offered his view on where the industry is going in the next five years and focused on how the so-called "new normal"—domestic and global economies in transition—may impact the industry.

Also speaking at the conference were Cartus executives Ellen Borofsky, Wendy Richardson, Dan Duffy, and Pat DeDonato. Borofsky participated in two panel discussions: "Valuation Strategies in Challenging Markets," and "The Appraiser and the Home Inspector: Narrowing the Gap." Richardson took part in "The Successful Implementation/Transition—The House that Partnership Built." Duffy’s group discussion focused on "Using Predictive Analytics to Improve Business Performance," and DeDonato lent her expertise to "The Household Goods Industry: A View from the Top."

Cartus employees who were honored at the event included Dr. Sheri Sinaga of Irvine, Calif., who was honored as a two-time Distinguished Service Award Recipient, and Sandra Shipley of Plano, Texas, who was cited a 2010 Meritorious Service Award Recipient.

Dr. Sinaga was also honored as an Editorial Award Recipient for co-authoring an article in ERC’S organizational publication, MOBILITY Magazine.

Eleven Cartus employees also were recognized for maintaining their 20-year designations as Certified Relocation Professionals (CRP). They included: Joe Allen, Mike Brannan, Nancy Donne, Jayne Hested, Carol Kantor, Pamela Lewis, Kathy Neill, Janet Raymond, LaRae Robinson, Steve Slabaugh, and Patricia Tooman.
