      Over its 16 years of participation in the program, Cartus has been honored with nine gold and 258 silver awards from CQIA—America’s first state-level quality awards program to use the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for Performance Excellence criteria. The awards were conferred at CQIA’s 25th Annual Conference on Quality and Innovation, held earlier this month in Portland, CT.

      Cartus received Innovation Prize award plaques in recognition of the accomplishments of 18 separate Cartus teams made up of 158 employees.

      The Gold Award-winning team was singled out for the creation of CartusMobile?—the company’s revolutionary smartphone app that enables clients and their relocating employees who are in the midst of moving to access critical relocation-related information.  This includes the status of their household goods shipments and personalized news feeds that contain brief, relevant, updated information on important milestone events such as successful submission of expense reports or assignment of a language trainer.

      The Silver Award-winning initiatives represented a wide variety of finance-, real estate-, client services-, and safety-related innovations.
