Candidate Assessment
promotes assignment success by supporting your candidate and his or her partner in
determining their suitability for living and working internationally. Our
programs address the personal and professional implications of accepting an
international assignment. We evaluate competencies, life stage, family
situation, and cultural compatibility with the host location. Services include
a one-day session with an experienced specialist and a workbook to enable

Cross-Cultural Training Programs
increase the abilities of your international assignees and their families to adjust
to and perform effectively in the new cultural environment. These programs are
based on our needs assessment process, which informs us about job performance
requirements for your employee; accompanying partner and family concerns;
previous international experience; knowledge about the host culture; attitudes
about participating in the training program; and expectations for the
international assignment. Our expert intercultural trainers adapt the sessions
to be most appropriate for your participants' assignment requirements and learning
styles, and may include presentations, case studies, role plays, critical
incidents, videos, and guided discussions. A team of area experts covers local
history, politics, business practices, customs and etiquette, and day-to-day
living issues. Throughout the program, the trainer appraises participant
strengths, gives feedback, and advises on areas for development. Cross-cultural
training may be delivered for adults and youth, pre-departure or post-arrival,
in group or individual sessions.
Repatriation Programs
assist your returning assignee and family in identifying the competencies and
skills they acquired during their international assignment. The sessions
facilitate a smooth transition to their next assignment and/or a closure to the
international assignment. Participants set personal and professional goals for
reintegrating into the workplace and local community. Our intercultural
trainers work with participants to address the issue of reverse culture shock
and guide them in determining transition strategies. This proactive
intervention enhances your assignees' career development and improves the chances of
employee retention. Repatriation programs may be delivered for adults and
