cartus announces partnership with move for hunger to provide 100,000 meals

Move For Hunger is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing food waste and combating hunger nationwide. Together, Cartus and Move For Hunger are committed to making a significant impact in the fight against hunger, one move at a time.

Cartus Executive SVP, David Pascoe, announced the partnership at the recent Cartus Client Forum held in Charleston, South Carolina, where the Cartus team, clients, and industry peers also helped pack and provide 200 meal kits for the Charleston community—translating to 800 meals for local families.

As part of this initiative, Cartus clients and their relocating employees will have the opportunity to contribute by donating excess non-perishable food items during their relocation using Move For Hunger’s network. This partnership not only provides essential meals to families in need but also encourages mindful shipping, reducing the environmental impact by lowering unnecessary shipment volumes.

Cartus offices worldwide actively support various charitable causes. In the APAC region, Cartus Singapore has been supporting and donating thousands of snack packs to hospitalized children and their families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities and preparing thousands of packed meals for families in need at Willing Hearts. Additionally, Cartus Hong Kong has donated more than 2,000 meals to Feeding Hong Kong and has contributed nearly 200 boxes of medical supplies and stationery to Box of Hope. In India, we donated to WWF to support their environment conservation efforts. In the EMEA region, Cartus has advocated for various charities including The Salvation Army, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Mind UK.
