The final phase in international assignments, repatriation is often neglected by mobility managers—a critical misstep, as repatriation is truly the key to ROI for global assignments. Many managers, even with the best of intentions, may tend to underestimate the effects, both on a personal and business level, of the repatriation phase on assignees and families.
