According to our latest Global Talent Mobility Survey, Singapore remains one of Asia’s most sought-after destinations for corporate relocation. Backed by its robust regulatory framework, exceptional connectivity, deep pool of international talent, pro-business policies, and political stability, Singapore continues to attract multinational companies and global talent. Singapore’s role as a regional business hub makes it one of the most compelling and well-supported destinations for assignees and their families.

highlights

  • residential leasing market: Singapore’s rental market has stabilised since the start of 2026 due to a rise in housing completions, resulting in a more balanced supply-demand environment, easing rental pressures for assignees. Despite the ongoing global economic and geopolitical uncertainties, rental rates are expected to remain stable over the coming year.
  • schooling: Singapore offers a wide range of international schooling options for relocating families, with many schools offering a bilingual program, most often in English and Mandarin. Families should note that international schools can be competitive, and tuition fees and related costs may vary significantly by school.
  • immigration: Singapore’s Employment Pass (EP) qualifying salary is set to increase for new applicants from 1 January 2027, and for renewals from 1 January 2028. Candidates are also required to meet the assessment criteria under the Complementarity Assessment Framework (COMPASS) to qualify.
